The Car:

2001 Mike Bos 257" rear engine dragster

-Double slip tube chassis

-Front and rear wings

-Fabricated Ford 9" rear housing, 4.10 gears, 35" tall, 14" wide racing slicks

The Engine:

-665 cubic inch big block Chevrolet, nitrous injected

-12 degree Profiler spread port heads, custom ported and prepped for nitrous use.  2.450" intake valve, 1.86" exhaust valve.  Valves are make of titanium.

​-Profiler tunnel ram intake, dual four barrel carburetors

-16.5:1 compression

-Custom ground camshaft

-Oversized .904" mechanical roller lifters

​-Custom Manton pushrods

-MSD Grid ignition system, high speed digital and fully programable

-Engine made 1510 horsepower at 7200 rpm without nitrous.  Nitrous will add approximately another 250-300 hp when in use, and is injected using one stage controlled by a timer.  

The Transmission:

-Powerglide transmission

-SFI certified explosion proof case and bellhousing

-1.80 low gear

-Transbrake

-Aftermarket pump

-High strength input shaft

-Modified internals


Best performance motor only:

-7.56 seconds @ 179.4 mph in 8800 ft. of air density


Best performance nitrous assisted:

-Not tested yet
